Chronos-Watchy is an alternative firmware for the Watchy open-source e-ink smartwatch, built with LVGL and designed to connect seamlessly with the Chronos App, a modern companion app for smartwatch users.

LVGL Powered

The UI is powered by LVGL, a lightweight and highly customizable graphics library. It allows for easy adaptation and integration across different platforms.

BLE Support

The watch can access features such as notifications, weather updates, and Google Maps navigation. These features are enabled through the ChronosESP32 library and synced using the Chronos mobile app.

Watchfaces

Custom XML based watchfaces built using LVGL Pro can be loaded at runtime without need to rebuild and flash the firmware.

Current Version

  1. Connect Watchy to your computer using a USB cable.
  2. Click the "Connect" button and select the serial port for your device.
  3. Click the "Flash Firmware" button to start the flashing process.
  4. Wait for the process to complete, and then disconnect!
